Description

In the prime section, primer is applied to the metal surface to promote adhesion and improve the durability of the final coating. The primer acts as a bonding agent between the metal and the coating material, ensuring a strong and long-lasting bond.

Process

The prime section typically consists of several stages. In this case, the stages include....

  1. Applying the primer, at the Prime Coater,
  2. Curing the primer in the Prime Oven,
  3. Removing any debris at the Prime Air Knife,
  4. Cooling the product in the Prime Water Quench before it moves on to the Finish Section.
