Description

The Prime Oven is a crucial component in a metal coating line, used to cure and dry the coated metal products after they pass through the Prime Coater. It is typically one more more large, insulated chambers that can reach high temperatures and maintain them consistently throughout the curing process.

It is made up of several zones, each of which is an oven in its own right. These allow the temperature to gradually increase from the first oven (often called the pre-heat oven) to the last.

This staggered heating of the coil helps prevent warping the coil, and also is more efficient in terms of gas usage.

In this application, there are three oven zones in both the Prime and Finish Oven.
